Every bride has ideas regarding what she does and doesn’t want for her wedding and when meeting with potential vendors there are certain dealbreakers that will automatically make you think, “hmmm…not hiring him.”
When you’re meeting with vendors, have an idea about what you expect from them. The services you want and need provided, their style and taste level and of course budget.
It’s very important that you know what you want from vendors when you are metting with them and especially when deciding which ones you want to hire. And of course you have to let your vendors know what your expectations are when meeting with and hiring them.

I totally agree. I took my 14 year old daughter with me to some of my vendor appointments and there were definitely times when we would walk out and immediately say "Nope, not hiring them." So what was my number one deal breaker? Their interest in the vision of my wedding and whether or not they asked me personal things about myself, fiance and the event. If they strictly talked about themself and showed me their past work and rambled off what was included in their service price, then I was done. The vendors I hired were people who looked through my sample photos, asked me all about what I wanted the day to look like and then got excited about how they could make it happen for us.
True as can be...one of the biggest deal breakers I've been hearing lately from couples is regarding a photographer: they don't want someone who will make them do the "everyone in the bridal party jump!" shot!
